Samish Island and Bow

Samish Island is a quiet and pristine Island known for great bird watching, especially abundant Bald Eagles and Blue Heron. It is connected to the mainland by a system of dikes so it is a "drive-on" island.

As you drive around the Island you will see lots of walkers and bicycles and the road circumnavigating the Island is relatively flat and the traffic is minimal.  There are no stores on the Island, but there is a wonderful Oyster Farm.  Shopping is easily accessible in either Burlington or Bellingham; each have malls, box stores, and specialty shops.

The mailing address of Samish Island is Bow, WA.  Bow is a small town with a few antique shops and restaurants.  The Bread Farm makes fantastic bread, and Samish Farms cheese are popular throughout the NW.

The community is warm and inviting.  The community events are clubs, card groups, hiking groups... and the highlight of the summer is the 4th of July Parade.  If you want to enjoy life as if it was the good ole days, make sure to explore the beautiful waterfront and view properties in Bow, Bayview, and Samish Island.
